Boo!

A couple of weeks ago, my brother, his wife and 3 kids were staying at my parents' house. Mom and Dad went camping, so they weren't home. It was getting late at night and a heavy storm was going on, then the lightening hit something in the neighborhood. Of course, the lights went out and it was so dark in the house! My brother found a flashlight. Then We all sat down and played with the light and made shadow puppets with our hands. Their second child, Spencer, is only 2 years old. He was playing with the flashlight and started flicking it on and off and on and off and on and off.. *sigh!* You know how ANNOYING it gets with Deaf people, and I am Deaf! I muttered to my brother that it is annoying the heck out of me because it is a Deaf thing. He turned to Spencer and told him that I don't like it when he flicks it on and off repeatedly. Spencer looked at me and I said, "If you do that one more time, you are going to be sorry!" Spencer only smiled and flicked the flashlight off. In the dark, I quickly shuffled forward until I was VERY close to Spencer. He flicked it on and I quickly said a calm, "Boo!" It startled him so bad that he didn't know whether he was going to laugh or cry. Poor Spencer spent the rest of the night staying close with his mother!
