I woke up about 2:30 AM from a nightmare. Blah!! I didn't want to go back to sleep! Here is the thing about me and dreams, I don't like to have nightmares when I am asleep and I have more nightmares than I have good dreams. The nightmare I had earlier was same one I had a couple months ago and is probably the third time I had! The nightmare was sort of like that Mad Max movie, except it is on the countryside. I cannot remember how it started, but I do remember how it ended. Several friends and I were driving different vehicles up a dirt road during the day. There were a lot of tall, golden grass, a few trees along the roadside, and a few junk items thrown here or there. Then I noticed someone speeding after us and I suddenly got a bad feeling. I started to press on the gas pedal and some of us started to freak out. One friend riding on my vehicle demanded to be dropped off because he thought it would be safer for him and his girlfriend than to ride with me. I dropped the couple off and sped away, turning around to see the person in the truck/van behind us pull over. He walked out, surely, quickly and precise, aimed his shotgun at the couple. He popped 2 rounds at my friends as they fell backwards to avoid getting shot. I knew right then they died instantly. The killer got back in his vehicle and sped after us. He aimed for another friend in a vehicle behind me, shooting a few rounds, resulting with my friend waving in pain and for help as his blood splattered across his windshield. The vehicle rolled over off the dirt road. The rest of the friends riding with me were yelling at me to be left off because they assumed the killer is after our vehicles. We drove a little faster and almost just about to lose the killer in the distance. The it happened, my vehicle started jerking a bit and died down. I noticed my other driving friends were having trouble driving on the rough, dirt road and I knew gas was running out fast. My vehicle started jerking badly and I pulled over, yelling at my friends to get the fuck out and run like Hell! We all got out and I looked down the road as I ran. Between the trees, I could see the front fender and the sun glinting off the headlights of the killer's vehicle as he sped up the road. We got tired fast from running in the thick, tall grass. I saw a large metal sheet up ahead with broken chainlink fence thrown about. It looked like someone from a construction project dumped the material there. I quickly hid under the sheet metal and told my friends to hide, but it was too late. The killer saw my friends as they cowered behind the mess of concrete and chainlink fence. He pulled up behind my vehicle and quickly walked out of his. Again, he was quick and approached my remaining friends. He aimed at them, popping his shotgun into their foreheads. I could see blood spraying out behind them. I was never so scared of my life before! Crying, I rolled myself into a fetal position as I felt footsteps coming closer to me when the sheet metal was pulled away. He quickly aimed at my chest as he stood over me. I looked up and couldn't see his face because the sunlight was shining behind him. Then I felt fear and peace at the same time. It was too eerie, so I turned away, closing my eyes. After a moment of quiet in the warm sunshine, I felt a hot, loud blast hit me from his shotgun. Then I woke up.
