Do you want to know why I do not support CI? I know and accept that CI have improved in technology and less scarring behind the ears. That's great for those advances! If you want CIs done or wear it faithfully, good for you! And keep in mind I don't have a problem with it! However, I have had more than several Pro-CI people come up to me and tell me I am 'not good enough' or 'not smart enough' because I don't wear CIs, despite the fact went to a better school than they did and that I can speak BETTER than they can! It totally turned me off.. It looks like people who have CIs and uses it often ends up acting like having a CI is a badge of honor that makes them holier than others who do not have them. That's the main reason I do not want to discuss CIs with other people because it is an egomaniac thing, not a cultural or medical thing! I have spoken my piece and you can have the soapbox.
