I cannot wait to see this Cloverfield movie, guys! I hope they do have an open captioned film featured soon as well! Rear view captioning TOTALLY sucks for this kind of movie because there are so much action and a lot of visual effects. Open captioned would be much better choice because I won't have to worry about missing the film. It is such a hassle to try to refocus on the dark glass to see the rear captions and then refocusing on the movie screen to see the film and refocusing on the glass to see the dialogue. You see?? Rear captioning is a pain in the ass! Open captions are the way to go!

Does you RWC theatre use the metal or the newer plastic ones? I have heard they are an improvement.
Ditigal Projectors should have Open Caption capacity in 2008.
(Well, they should have had them from the start).
But I haven't heard of that movie.

They're the plastic, grey ones. Improvement or not, refocusing back and forth from the glass panel to the movie screen has caused headaches for me and some of my friends. I even asked the manager for a refund and the dates for the film's Open Captioned showings.
