Coyotes' (Wayne Gretsky's the coach) hockey stadium (brown building) and the Cardinals' football staduim (silver and designed to fit the style of the desert - we are hosting superbowl again I think 2 years or so). Both stadiums are right next to each other.

That's because it's on newly developed land. It's farms around the stadiums. Soon, the farms will be bought out and build stores, apartments, houses, etc.
Give it a few more years, it won't be so spacious.
it is difficult to explain what I meant -- in the East Coast, people seemed to be OK with fewer acres and smaller yard, but in the west, people demanded it for themselves.
IN Europe, people seemed to be content with smaller things in life. I think it is much healthier to have this than the ones in the West, especially in the Southwest (Texas is the worst one, BTW!).
