reunions suck without ASL
Yeah, reunion sucks without ASL. Some of my cousins knows a little
sign, so it made the camping experience more bearable. I've gone
camping with Deaf friends before and always had a blast. But when
they're all hearies... *sigh*

The majority of Deafies can relate to you. :-)
Families are great but at the same time, it's like...ugh, on the eyes from reading lips and doing alot of guesswork. No fun!
I'm so blessed to be in a deaf family even if it's dysfunctional.
