Boo!
A couple of weeks ago, my brother, his wife and 3 kids were staying at my parents' house. Mom and Dad went camping, so they weren't home. It was getting late at night and a heavy storm was going on, then the lightening hit something in the neighborhood. Of course, the lights went out and it was so dark in the house! My brother found a flashlight. Then We all sat down and played with the light and made shadow puppets with our hands. Their second child, Spencer, is only 2 years old. He was playing with the flashlight and started flicking it on and off and on and off and on and off.. *sigh!* You know how ANNOYING it gets with Deaf people, and I am Deaf! I muttered to my brother that it is annoying the heck out of me because it is a Deaf thing. He turned to Spencer and told him that I don't like it when he flicks it on and off repeatedly. Spencer looked at me and I said, "If you do that one more time, you are going to be sorry!" Spencer only smiled and flicked the flashlight off. In the dark, I quickly shuffled forward until I was VERY close to Spencer. He flicked it on and I quickly said a calm, "Boo!" It startled him so bad that he didn't know whether he was going to laugh or cry. Poor Spencer spent the rest of the night staying close with his mother!
Pondering..
I have been in Arizona since August 9, 2004. A few days later, it dawned on me that EXACTLY on August 9, 1996 was the day I moved to Utah from Arizona! I don't know if that is a true coincidence. It's whole 8 years of Utah! Wow!! I am impressed I survived that long!

I am going to be using a new template on @thedeafbastard. I am taking off the old blog page and make it the main page of this site.
BookCrossing ::
BookCrossing is pretty new to me. It reads:
The "3 Rs" of BookCrossing...
1. Read a good book (you already know how to do that)
2. Register it here (along with your journal comments), get a unique BCID (BookCrossing ID number), and label the book
3. Release it for someone else to read (give it to a friend, leave it on a park bench, donate it to charity, "forget" it in a coffee shop, etc.), and get notified by email each time someone comes here and records journal entries for that book. And if you make Release Notes on the book, others can Go Hunting for it and try to find it!
Hmm, I am thinking about joining this!

Tater Tot Casserole
Here is a recipe my family grew up on:
Tater Tot Casserole
2 lbs ground beef
1 pkg dry onion soup mix
2 cans of cream of mushroom soup
2 cans green beans, drained
1 big pkg. Tater Tots
Brown beef and drain. Stir in soup mix, soup and green beans. Spread into a 13x9-inch pan. Then, top with a single layer of Tater Tots. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 55 minutes.

This reminds me of what my aunt likes, flan and other similar fancy desserts. It is because of my mother and aunt, I am seriously considering a career in being a Pastry Chef.

WWII Trends
I have noticed lately that there is a growing trend in WWII stories and movies. And the strange thing is that I have been having dreams about WWII! Does this mean another big war will happen soon?

Business Card
I'd probably use this as my potential business card. Maybe this one or that one! This one looks nice, too! Help me decide by using my comments option below this post! ;)
IKEA Store!
I am going to the IKEA Store next week in Arizona! I can't wait to finally start organizing my fabrics! I have like 5 boxes full of fabric sitting around in fugly cardboard boxes. I am surprised I let the fabrics build up and I never use them. It is about time they come out of the boxes into the light and good use!
